Today's highlight is the iconic Blarney Castle & Gardens โ kiss the legendary Blarney Stone and receive the gift of eloquence! Explore the beautiful castle grounds, the mystical Rock Close, and the Poison Garden before returning to Kinsale for your final evening in the south.
Depart Kinsale and drive the spectacular Beara Peninsula โ one of Ireland's most unspoiled and dramatic routes. Rugged mountains, wild Atlantic coastline and quiet villages largely undiscovered by mass tourism await. Continue to Killarney and check in to The Ross Hotel.
A full day on the magnificent Dingle Peninsula. Drive the Slea Head Loop โ arguably Ireland's finest scenic drive โ taking in ancient beehive huts, the early Christian Gallarus Oratory, and sweeping views of the Blasket Islands. Stop at the golden sands of Inch Beach before returning to Killarney.
Depart Killarney and head north, boarding the Shannon River Ferry to cross from Killimer to Tarbert โ a wonderful and scenic way to travel between provinces. Continue into County Clare for a visit to the world-famous Cliffs of Moher, soaring 214 metres above the Atlantic and one of Ireland's most iconic natural wonders. Afterwards, pass through the otherworldly lunar landscape of The Burren before arriving in Galway City. Check in to the Hyde Hotel.
A full day to soak up the infectious energy of Galway โ Ireland's cultural capital. Explore the bustling Shop Street, wander the Latin Quarter's cobbled lanes, browse the artisan shops and galleries of the West, and discover the vibrant pub culture of the city of the tribes. Alternatively, choose one of the optional excursions below to make the most of your day in the West of Ireland.
Travel east to Dublin, Ireland's vibrant capital, and check in to the Mespil Hotel. This afternoon, visit the Guinness Storehouse at St. James's Gate โ culminating in a pint in the iconic Gravity Bar with panoramic views across the city. The evening is yours to explore Dublin's famous bars and restaurants.
Your final morning in Ireland โ visit Trinity College Dublin to see the magnificent Book of Kells and the breathtaking Long Hall Library, one of the most beautiful rooms in Europe. After this unforgettable farewell to Ireland, transfer to Dublin Airport for your Ryanair flight to Edinburgh.
